herb.jpgThe project takes cognisance of the ecological footprints that human activity has continued to exert on our limited natural resources. A number of measures are being implemented to reduce damage to our environment through project activities and to mitigate the effects of climate change on vulnerable communities.

These measures include:
1. Training farmers on sustainable farming practices with increased resource (water, nutrients and space) -use efficiency, 2. Conscientising beneficiaries on the effects of climate change and how communities can contribute to retarding global warming, and
3. Consultations with Environmental Management Authority (EMA) in projects that deal with exploitation of natural resources
